(&#8230;) His lyrical-dramatic interpretations are very personal and one will remember and recognize them even from among a thousand other pianists.&#8221;<\/em>&nbsp;&#8211; Prof. Pavel Gillilov<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celebrated for his lyrical-dramatic interpretations, unique, personal style and consummate artistry, Polish pianist&nbsp;<strong>Konrad Skolarski<\/strong>presents Chopin&#8217;s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of JoAnn Falletta on November 5th, as well as two recitals: on Wednesday, November 1st at the Kleinhaus Music Hall in Buffalo and Friday, November 10th at the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York. The concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation celebrates Polands Independence Day and will feature works by Chopin, Beethoven, Bach and Liszt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Konrad Skolarski<\/strong>&nbsp;is a concert pianist with extraordinary technique, distinctive interpretative style and sophisticated piano repertoire. Born into a musical family, he holds a doctoral degree in Musical Arts from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he is Professor of Piano. In 2001 Konrad Skolarski won First Prize at the 3rd Tchaikovsky International Competition in Spain. In 2012 his solo CD with Rachmaninov, Scriabin and Prokofiev was awarded the Diapason Award and received nomination for the Fryderyk Award. He has performed in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Serbia, Great Britain and Japan. Konrad Skolarski is a former student of Pavel Gililov at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Cologne, Olga Rusina at the Music Academy in Wroclaw, as well as Alicja Paleta-Bugaj at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He has been a student of the legendary Prof. Peter Feuchtwanger in London, who has worked with many distinguished pianists, including Martha Argerich, Nelson Freire and Shura Cherkassky.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2010 Konrad Skolarski received a doctorate in music and the following year joined the faculty of the University of Music in Warsaw. His students have won international competitions. His most recent appearances include a performance with Sinfonia Iuventus and Michail Jurowski and concerts during the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival and the Izmir International Festival. His lyrical-dramatic interpretations are very personal and one will remember and recognize them even from among a thousand other pianists.\" - Prof. Pavel Gillilov\nCelebrated for his lyrical-dramatic interpretations, unique, personal style and consummate artistry, Polish pianist Konrad Skolarskipresents Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of JoAnn Falletta on November 5th, as well as two recitals: on Wednesday, November 1st at the Kleinhaus Music Hall in Buffalo and Friday, November 10th at the Kosciuszko Foundation in New York. The concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation celebrates Polands Independence Day and will feature works by Chopin, Beethoven, Bach and Liszt. \nKonrad Skolarski is a concert pianist with extraordinary technique, distinctive interpretative style and sophisticated piano repertoire. Born into a musical family, he holds a doctoral degree in Musical Arts from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he is Professor of Piano. In 2001 Konrad Skolarski won First Prize at the 3rd Tchaikovsky International Competition in Spain. In 2012 his solo CD with Rachmaninov, Scriabin and Prokofiev was awarded the Diapason Award and received nomination for the Fryderyk Award. He has performed in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Serbia, Great Britain and Japan. Konrad Skolarski is a former student of Pavel Gililov at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Cologne, Olga Rusina at the Music Academy in Wroclaw, as well as Alicja Paleta-Bugaj at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. He has been a student of the legendary Prof. Peter Feuchtwanger in London, who has worked with many distinguished pianists, including Martha Argerich, Nelson Freire and Shura Cherkassky. \nIn 2010 Konrad Skolarski received a doctorate in music and the following year joined the faculty of the University of Music in Warsaw. His students have won international competitions. His most recent appearances include a performance with Sinfonia Iuventus and Michail Jurowski and concerts during the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival and the Izmir International Festival.
