This internationally-renowned Polish-born festival presented a boundary-pushing program, focused on electronic and experimental music with a series of unforgettable immersive events incorporating video art, light displays and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fall, Unsound bookends Halloween in Toronto with two nights of Canadian exclusives for 2017 in a pair of seated events at The Sony Centre. This landmark theatre will play host to a radical mix of ambient soundscapes, innovative film and TV scores, dance, and even ancient Slavic sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cult Polish band&nbsp;<strong>Ksiezyc<\/strong>&nbsp;will open the evening on November 3rd, 2017. With five members playing an array of instruments, Ksiezyc (Polish for &#8222;moon,&#8221; pronounced KSHEN-zhits) draws on ancient Slavic music, minimalism and experimentation to create mysterious, haunting soundscapes. He band has enjoyed quite a return, following their Unsound Krakow 2014 comeback show, the first one in two decades. Their first self-titled album &#8222;Ksiezyc&#8221; (1996) was considered one of the 20 most influential alternative music records of the 1990s. Pressed on vinyl in 2013 in an edition of 500 by the UK&#8217;s Penultimate Press, it has attracted great interest abroad. This internationally-renowned Polish-born festival presented a boundary-pushing program, focused on electronic and experimental music with a series of unforgettable immersive events incorporating video art, light displays and more.\nThis fall, Unsound bookends Halloween in Toronto with two nights of Canadian exclusives for 2017 in a pair of seated events at The Sony Centre. This landmark theatre will play host to a radical mix of ambient soundscapes, innovative film and TV scores, dance, and even ancient Slavic sounds.\nCult Polish band Ksiezyc will open the evening on November 3rd, 2017. With five members playing an array of instruments, Ksiezyc (Polish for \"moon,\" pronounced KSHEN-zhits) draws on ancient Slavic music, minimalism and experimentation to create mysterious, haunting soundscapes. He band has enjoyed quite a return, following their Unsound Krakow 2014 comeback show, the first one in two decades. Their first self-titled album \"Ksiezyc\" (1996) was considered one of the 20 most influential alternative music records of the 1990s. Pressed on vinyl in 2013 in an edition of 500 by the UK's Penultimate Press, it has attracted great interest abroad.
