Nash, Distinguished Professor and Director Emeritus, National Center for History in the Schools, will be presenting a talk based on his book <em>Friends of Liberty: Thomas Jefferson, Tadeusz Kosciuszko and Agrippa Hull.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lecture will be followed by a reception during which guests will raise a toast with General Tadeusz Kosciuszko in mind. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PolishCultureNYC\/videos\/1110549715711248\/?hc_ref=ARQrHjen9Ea6BjILGL1z-LCrHoB24-ur1Vs3-M-ovbtbg_uI-GRXPgpy8R37LHXxIG4&amp;pnref=story\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Kosciuszko Bridge<\/em><\/a> is a cocktail created for 'The Vodka Contract,&#8217; a special event from the Spring Spirits series at Brooklyn&#8217;s Museum of Food &amp; Drink (MOFAD) under the auspices of the Polish Cultural Institute New York. Joining the spirits of two nations, this aromatic concoction is a melding of the Polish herbal Bison Grass vodka, Zubr\u00f3wka with New York&#8217;s own Dorothy Parker Gin and a splash of Doc&#8217;s Draft Cider. It&#8217;s the perfect drink for welcoming the newest New York bridge and for saying goodbye to the old one.
