Some of Kozakiewicz\u00b4s projects refer to the tradition of garden architecture, others to the strategy of conceptual art, land art. Kozakiewicz\u2019s quest has led him or the utopian architecture of the 1960s and 1970s. The artist creates models of conceptual and critical architecture, that are not always intended to be realized but rather to address or solve specific problems.&nbsp;He refers to them as diagnostic instruments designed to assess the functioning of the human living environment and the failures that arise in urban planning and construction. The inspirations for his artistic-architectural and urbanistic projects include, among other things, contemporary ecology, genetics, physics, astronomy, and ancient cosmological concepts searching for relations between microcosm and macrocosm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Two things bind Kozakiewicz\u2019s work together more strongly than any other: humanism and respect for the existing world. Kozakiewicz is almost uniquely sensitive to human needs \u2013 every one of his projects, however utopian, is entirely focused on serving the individual, to provide him with what is perhaps too often forgotten in our soulless, technologicised world.<\/p>\n<p>Kozakiewicz is a Professor at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts where he runs the Interdisciplinary Design Workshop at the Faculty of Design. Kozakiewicz received prices in major architectural competitions. He received an honourable mention, for instance, in a competition for the design of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toru\u0144 (2004) and in 2005, his entry won in international competition for the Park of Reconciliation near the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Some of Kozakiewicz\u00b4s projects refer to the tradition of garden architecture, others to the strategy of conceptual art, land art. Kozakiewicz\u2019s quest has led him or the utopian architecture of the 1960s and 1970s. The artist creates models of conceptual and critical architecture, that are not always intended to be realized but rather to address or solve specific problems. He refers to them as diagnostic instruments designed to assess the functioning of the human living environment and the failures that arise in urban planning and construction. The inspirations for his artistic-architectural and urbanistic projects include, among other things, contemporary ecology, genetics, physics, astronomy, and ancient cosmological concepts searching for relations between microcosm and macrocosm.\n\u2018Two things bind Kozakiewicz\u2019s work together more strongly than any other: humanism and respect for the existing world. Kozakiewicz is almost uniquely sensitive to human needs \u2013 every one of his projects, however utopian, is entirely focused on serving the individual, to provide him with what is perhaps too often forgotten in our soulless, technologicised world.\nKozakiewicz is a Professor at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts where he runs the Interdisciplinary Design Workshop at the Faculty of Design. Kozakiewicz received prices in major architectural competitions. He received an honourable mention, for instance, in a competition for the design of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toru\u0144 (2004) and in 2005, his entry won in international competition for the Park of Reconciliation near the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
