On February 22\u201324, 2025, Chicago will host a unique series of events dedicated to fostering academic and scientific collaboration between Poland and the USA. From February 22-23, representatives of The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA<\/strong><\/a> and 17 Polish universities will meet with the local community to present educational opportunities of studying in Poland as part of the Weekend with Polish Diaspora<\/em><\/strong>. On February 24, the Polish-American Scientific & Academic Cooperation Meetup <\/strong><\/em>will bring together scientists, university representatives, and members of the Polish scientific community to discuss multi-level cooperation with Polish institutions. Hosted by NAWA, Northeastern Illinois University<\/strong><\/a>, and the Ko\u015bciuszko Foundation\u2019s Chicago<\/a><\/strong> chapter, the event will feature discussions on international exchange programs and collaborative academic projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, NAWA is a partner in the „NEXT \u2013 Talks for The Future Generation”<\/a><\/strong> conference. Polish youth attending the event to listen to inspiring speeches will also have the opportunity to visit the Polish universities\u2019 section, featuring 17 universities from different regions of Poland. There will be a variety of institutions represented, so everyone will find something suited to their interests. At the NAWA booth, you can learn more about the Anders NAWA Scholarship<\/a><\/strong> for the Polish community and other programs offered by the Agency. It\u2019s also an excellent opportunity to explore offerings related to Polish language programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following day, on February 23, the Polish Universities Fair will take place at the Polish National Alliance headquarters. For six hours, the Polish National Alliance building will be open to the Polish community interested in meeting with representatives of the Polish academic environment. During the event, Polish youth from various grades, as well as parents, teachers, and principals of Polish schools, will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from Polish universities and NAWA. This is an excellent chance to ask questions about study programs, scholarships, Polish language certification, degree recognition, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scientists and representatives of universities, as well as the Polish scientific community and those interested in multi-level cooperation with Polish institutions, are invited to participate in the Polish-American scientific academic cooperation. Join us for a unique gathering in Chicago this February as NAWA, Northeastern Illinois University, and the Ko\u015bciuszko Foundation’s Chicago chapter host a session on the dynamic academic collaborations between Poland and the USA. Whether you are a researcher looking to embark on a new scientific project or just interested in the academic ties that bind the two nations, this meeting is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will open with a panel discussing the experiences of alumni from international exchange programs, providing insights into the real impacts and benefits of academic exchanges. Following this, a second session will feature discussions with representatives from both Polish and American institutions. These talks will focus on exploring the various international exchange programs and the strategic partnerships that enhance educational and scientific exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the event will highlight the extensive offerings and opportunities for international cooperation provided by Polish universities and NAWA. There will also be ample time allocated for networking, allowing attendees to discuss and explore topics of mutual interest in more depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
