Seats are limited, on first come, first served basis.<br>Reserve your seat online at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/rehearsal-for-truth-theater-festival-intro-poland-tickets-36885972938\">eventbrite.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bohemian National Hall<\/strong><br>321 East 73rd Street, New York, NY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The production will be performed in Polish with English subtitles.<br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vhlf.org\/events\/theater-festival-to-showcase-central-european-productions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>The Rehearsal for Truth<\/strong><\/a>theater festival, honoring Vaclav Havel, provides a platform for artists from the Central Europe to perform in New York City.&nbsp;<strong>The Rehearsal for Truth&nbsp;<\/strong>is organized by the Vaclav Havel Library Foundation and the Bohemian Benevolent &amp; Literary Association, in partnership with Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Slovak cultural institutes and performing arts institutions to highlight Havel&#8217;s legacy as a playwright through live performances, panel discussions, exhibitions and an award ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8222;What matters is not whether a play is light-hearted or serious, butbe it comedic or otherwisewhether it speaks to people about their problems, how it speaks to them, what impact it has on them&amp; We wish only to put on plays that meet certain standards of urgency, that are intellectually penetrating, complex, challenging, and powerful.&#8221; &#8212;&nbsp;<\/em><strong>Vaclav Havel,<\/strong><em>The Kind of Theater We Want to Do,&nbsp;<\/em>from a letter to Alfred Radok, August 4, 1963<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8222;INTRO&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;by&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dadateatr.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dada von Bzd\u00fcl\u00f6w Theatre&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a>(Anno Domini 2015), draws inspiration, recognition and nervous melancholy from the undying spirit of the Dada movement, which &#8211; as his Apostles used to say &#8211; was, is and will be.
