Since its inaugural year, United Solo featured over 600 theatre productions from all over the world in categories including drama, comedy, dance, movement, storytelling, stand-up, multimedia, and musical theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each year, the Festival presents a Special Award for a solo artist. Past winners include Anna Deavere Smith, Patti LuPone, John Leguizamo, Fiona Shaw, and Billy Crystal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected shows are also invited to participate in United Solo Europe, an overseas program presented annually at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.teatrsyrena.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Teatr Syrena<\/a>&nbsp;in Warsaw, thanks to support from the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mkidn.gov.pl\/pages\/the-ministry-of-culture-and-national-heritage.php?lang=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ministry of Culture and National Heritage<\/a>&nbsp;of the Republic of Poland.
