It is organized by the media and events company Frieze, home to four publications (<em>frieze<\/em> magazine, <em>frieze d\/e<\/em>, <em>Frieze Masters Magazine<\/em> and <em>Frieze Week<\/em>), three international art fairs (Frieze London, Frieze New York, and Frieze masters), programs of courses and talks at Frieze academy, and finally frieze.com&#8211;the definitive resource for contemporary art and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>lokal_30<\/strong> will feature <em>Archives<\/em>, a presentation of three analytical artists from Poland: the legendary Polish photographer, <strong>Natalia LL<\/strong>; the leadering Polish video-artist of the 1980s, <strong>Jozef Robakowski<\/strong>; and the successful young painter <strong>Ewa Juszkiewicz<\/strong>. While Natalia LL and Joseph Robakowski are well known and established in New York, this year&#8217;s Frieze will be Ewa Juszkiewicz&#8217;s debut, introducing her new series of oil paintings. Juszkiewicz creates haunting images based on classical painting styles, like the portraiture of the 16th-19th century masters, and her latest series is a development of that theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le Guern<\/strong> will present works by four artists working in painting, photography and installation art: <strong>C.T. Jasper<\/strong>, <strong>Robert Maciejuk<\/strong>,<strong> Tadeusz Rolke<\/strong>, and the Czech artist <strong>Jiri David<\/strong>.
