An important component of the project also includes a writer\u2019s residency and public events organized in its frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the tour Ros\u00e9 will participate in poetry readings and presentations of the books <em>morze noc\u0105 jest mi\u0119\u015bniem serca<\/em> (PIW, 2022) and <em>P\u00f3\u0142noc Przypowie\u015bci<\/em> (Znak, 2019). The author will participate in both solo author events and meetings featuring other poets, such as Natalya Sukhonos, Olga Livshin, Randi Ward, Eugene Ostashevsky, and Vasyl Makhno. The events are planned to take place at venues including Salon Salvage in Troy, the Shevchenko Center in New York, the Grolier Poetry Book Shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Tamizdat in New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The public event at the Shevchenko Center will be the presentation of two publications: the poetry volume <em>morze noc\u0105 jest mi\u0119\u015bniem serca<\/em> in a bilingual Polish\u2013Ukrainian edition translated by Natalia Belchenko and published by Duh i Litera, as well as the multilingual anthology dedicated to Ukraine, <em>Both Sides Face East. Durable Words<\/em> (Academic Studies Press, 2025). The author is a co-editor of this publication, the author of one essay, and the translator of selected poems by Iya Kiva and Serhiy Zhadan into Polish. The anthology premiered at the Kyiv Book Fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arielrose.art\/bio\">ariel ros\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> is a Polish-Norwegian poet, essayist, illustrator, translator living as a nomad between languages and countries. They are the author and illustrator of the books <em>morze noc\u0105 jest mi\u0119\u015bniem serca<\/em> (<em>the sea by night is a muscle of the heart<\/em>, PIW 2022) and <em>P\u00f3\u0142noc. An important component of the project also includes a writer\u2019s residency and public events organized in its frame.\nDuring the tour Ros\u00e9 will participate in poetry readings and presentations of the books morze noc\u0105 jest mi\u0119\u015bniem serca (PIW, 2022) and P\u00f3\u0142noc Przypowie\u015bci (Znak, 2019). The author will participate in both solo author events and meetings featuring other poets, such as Natalya Sukhonos, Olga Livshin, Randi Ward, Eugene Ostashevsky, and Vasyl Makhno. The events are planned to take place at venues including Salon Salvage in Troy, the Shevchenko Center in New York, the Grolier Poetry Book Shop in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Tamizdat in New York.\nThe public event at the Shevchenko Center will be the presentation of two publications: the poetry volume morze noc\u0105 jest mi\u0119\u015bniem serca in a bilingual Polish\u2013Ukrainian edition translated by Natalia Belchenko and published by Duh i Litera, as well as the multilingual anthology dedicated to Ukraine, Both Sides Face East. Durable Words (Academic Studies Press, 2025). The author is a co-editor of this publication, the author of one essay, and the translator of selected poems by Iya Kiva and Serhiy Zhadan into Polish. The anthology premiered at the Kyiv Book Fair.\nariel ros\u00e9 is a Polish-Norwegian poet, essayist, illustrator, translator living as a nomad between languages and countries. They are the author and illustrator of the books morze noc\u0105 jest mi\u0119\u015bniem serca (the sea by night is a muscle of the heart, PIW 2022) and P\u00f3\u0142noc.
