The Polish Book Institute, the Polish Cultural Institute London and the Polish Cultural Institute New<\/span>
York are now accepting nominations for this year\u2019s edition of the FOUND IN TRANSLATION award,<\/span>
honoring the best translation of Polish literature into English in 2019.<\/span>

The Found in Translation Award includes a one-month residency in Krak\u00f3w, an honorarium of 2,000<\/span>
zlotys, travel to and from Krak\u00f3w funded by the Polish Book Institute, and a cash prize of 16,000<\/span>
zlotys funded in equal parts by the Polish Book Institute, the PCI London and the PCI New York.<\/span>

Translations published in book form in 2019 qualify for nomination. Individuals or organizations in<\/span>
Poland and abroad may nominate candidates to the Book Institute (by writing to<\/span>
biuro@instytutksiazki.pl). The nomination should include a justification for choosing the candidate,<\/span>
the candidate\u2019s address, and the address of the nominator.<\/span>
