Their collaborations include Edvard Grieg, Sergei Prokofiev, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Maurice Revel, Camille Saint-Sa\u00ebns as well as pianists Arthur Rubinstein, Vladimir Horowitz and Claudio Arrau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra\u00a0<\/strong>gave its first concert on November 5, 1901 in the Philharmonic\u2019s concert hall. The Orchestra was conducted by Emil M\u0142ynarski \u2013 co-founder, first music director and resident conductor of the Philharmonic, while the solo part was played by Ignacy Jan Paderewski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Orchestra has frequently been awarded prestigious record prizes, including the Grammy in 2013 (and six Grammy nominations) for their recordings of Penderecki\u2019s and Karol Szymanowski\u2019s large-scale vocal-instrumental works, Diapason d\u2019Or, ICMA, Gramophone Award, Record Geijutsu, Classical Internet Award, Cannes Classical Award, and the Fryderyk Award of the Polish Phonographic Academy. Now in his eighth and final season as Music Director of Artis\u2014Naples, Boreyko\u2019s inspiring leadership has raised the artistic standard of the Naples Philharmonic. He concludes his tenure as Music Director by continuing to explore connections between art forms through interdisciplinary thematic programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlights of previous seasons have included major tours with The State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia (to Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Munich) and the Filarmonica della Scala (to Ljubljana, Rheingau, Gstaad, and Grafenegg festivals). Described by\u00a0<em>The Telegram<\/em>\u00a0for his \u201c<em>powerful, polished, and emanates from a disciplined mind<\/em>\u201d interpretations, Bruce Liu is standing out as one of the most musically dynamic and technically gifted pianists of his generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has performed with major ensembles including the Cleveland Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He took part in a North American tour with the China NCPA Orchestra, performing Ravel\u2019s G major Concerto, National Post described his interpretation \u201ca subtle range of French color and feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, he performed two successive China tours with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra (including appearances at the Beijing Concert Hall, the National Center for the Performing Arts, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, Changsha Concert Hall, and the National Library Arts Center).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has made numerous studio recordings with ICI Radio-Canada featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, Satie, and his music has been broadcasted worldwide. \u201cMelodic lines were well-defined, there was steely clarity to his articulation, a huge range of dynamic contrasts, and the lyrical episodes were lovingly shaped.
