The Ars Activa Foundation, in cooperation with Polish and Ukrainian organizations in New York, is organizing the „United for Peace” Gala Concert on November 9 at 8:00 pm at Weil Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall<\/strong>. Due to the prevailing geopolitical situation, the theme of this year’s concert will be a call for peace, especially peace in Ukraine. The concert will feature more than a dozen artists from Poland, Ukraine, the US and Canada, including Radosia Jasik – piano, Denis Savelyev – flute, Valeriya Sholokhova – cello, Iwo Jedynecki – accordeon, Karolina Miko\u0142ajczyk – violin, Mariusz Monczak – violin and Calisia Ensemble, who will perform outstanding works by composers from their respective countries, the music will be accompanied by words on peace by Saint John Paul II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Proceeds from the concert are earmarked for the largest orphanage in Ukraine in Chernivtsi. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The concert is also a form of showing gratitude to those who have supported the Ukrainian people since the beginning of the war.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" November 9 at 8pm ETWeil Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall Tickets priced at: $39 and $49 are available at the Carnegie Hall box office or by calling (347) 6290052.
