As an intersectional anarcha-feminist politically engaged artist, Zuzanna will share her decade long research dedicated to the building of a new archive based on Jewish women\u2019s fighters experience of war and violence. Zuzanna&#8217;s recent installation for the 12 Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art (Germany), as well as this year\u2019s exhibition at National Gallery of Art in Vilnius (Lithuania), are recovering memory of women resistance since the early XX century analyzing their strategies and methods to bring back the knowledge so we could use it today in the battles we fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zuzannahertzberg.com\/bio\/\"><strong>Zuzanna Hertzberg<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;is a recipient of The Vivian J. Prins Foundation Artistic Residency at the Center For Jewish History, New York. She is an interdisciplinary artist, artivist, and researcher. Her art includes painting, performance, textiles, and assemblage. She is the author of installations and collages using archival materials. She is interested in the interweaving of individual and collective memory, and in the search for identity in the mechanism of appropriation and restitution of minority heritage, especially women\u2019s heritage, as well as issues of geopolitics and strategies of marginalisation of uncomfortable narratives. She is involved in individual and collective practices combating discrimination and violence against marginalized people and groups. She is the co-founder of the Jewish Antifascist Block, a member of the Antifascist Coalition, and a member of the board of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/szih.org.pl\/en\/strona-glowna-en-translation\/\"><strong>Association of the Jewish Historical Institute of Poland<\/strong><\/a>.
