TVP is proud to announce a new event for the European television industry − International TV Festival: Heart of Europe
It is the first festival of television production dedicated to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The Festival aims to promote and activate the region’s television creativity and popularise public media and strengthen their role in Europe’s media landscape.
We invite broadcasters and authors from over a dozen countries in the region of Central and Eastern Europe to participate in the Heart of Europe festival. All these countries, although diverse and multicultural, share a common identity. It consists of similar historical experiences, similar sensitivity, courage and spirit − those features that are most clearly visible in art, especially in the field of film and television creativity.
Our goal is for the Heart of Europe festival to help better define and strengthen the community of people in Central and Eastern Europe. The Heart of Europe festival is to become a forum for an artistic debate on the spirit of our region and space for joint activities that will help strengthen cooperation between the region’s countries. This will help publicise the work of less known cinematography in Central and Eastern Europe, both in our region and around the world. It will be worthwhile for the original, characteristic voice of a dozen or so countries from the Heart of Europe to be finally noticed and fully resonate in the new space offered by the new TVP festival.
DATES
The first edition of the International TV Festival Heart of Europe will be held in the hybrid model on November 3-30, 2021, in Warsaw. We invite you to participate and partner in this new event on the map of Europe.
Cinema and online screenings of the nominated programs and accompanying events will take place as part of the first edition festival.
