His provocative novels and plays have hugely influenced European and world literature and theater. He disliked going to the theater, but over the last 50 years, his\u00a0<em>Ivona, Princess of Burgundia<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Iwona, ksi\u0119\u017cniczka Burgunda<\/em>, 1937) has become the most widely performed Polish play of all time in other countries and languages.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Series of lectures by the American theater scholar and Gombrowicz expert Professor\u00a0<strong>Allen J.
