Nabu lives with her brother in a little village, somewhere beyond the seas. One day the village comes under attack and burns to the ground. The children lose sight of one another in the commotion. The following day Nabu embarks on a journey, clutching her brother\u2019s toy monkey close to her heart, full of hope to find him. Her uneasy journey is interrupted by some soldiers guarding invisible borders. Against all odds, she finds herself on a boat among other refugees, but the tiny girl is soon swept overboard by a giant wave. Nabu floats on the surface, slowly embraced by darkness. On the shore, not one sunbather notices that a tiny toy monkey has been washed up by the waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
