Museum &#8211; A new visitors&#8217; center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A new visitors&#8217; center was established at the Auschwitz Museum in Poland.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is due to the growing number of visitors and the need to create a new space for them with a wide parking lot from where the visitors will be able to reach the camp site through an<\/p>\n<p>underground passage which will be built on top of its historical buildings and facilitate access to them says <em>Andrzej Kacorzyk<\/em>, the deputy director of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum and<\/p>\n<p>head of the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust.<\/p>\n<p>The construction is expected to be completed in 2022 thanks to the significant financial support of the\u00a0<em>European Union<\/em> and the <em>Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The new building will include a counter providing information about camp inmates, a screening room with a new<\/p>\n<p>documentary movie, a new exhibition about the history of the 30s that preceded World War II, the rise of Nazism, the Nazi conspiracy, the ruling totalitarian regime, the outbreak of the war and<\/p>\n<p>Nazi policy on the territory of occupied Poland.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
