In 2013 Pawlikowski returned to Poland. His legendary movie <em>Ida <\/em>garnered him acclaim and made him known to a wide audience. The movie was also screened in Israel a couple of years ago. Pawlikowski won an Oscar for his movie <em>Cold War<\/em>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Before he started making feature movies, Pawlikowski was best known for documentaries. He also worked for BBC. The quality of his documentaries is on par with that of his feature movies.
