Making Art<\/em>&#8221; returns to the city on November 12-14!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The flagship events are held for the past 18 years by the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality and the Department of the Arts and present the leading and diverse art in the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The main event this year, &#8220;Open Skies&#8221;, curated by Avi Lubin, will take place in the city center in collaboration with the European Union, <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>where artists from various European countries\u00a0will present alongside Israeli artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>The Polish\u00a0artist <\/b><em style=\"font-weight: bold\">Monika Dro\u017cy\u0144ska will participate in the events with her work that will be shown at Bialik Square.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em style=\"font-weight: bold\">Monika Dro\u017cy\u0144ska <\/em>(1979) an artist and activist living in Krakow, Poland, a graduate from Academy of Fine Art in Cracow.<\/p>\n<p>She deals with hand embroidery and fabric that she often links with social events and instalations in public space.<\/p>\n<p>She is the finalist of the following prestigious competitions: &#8220;Kulturalne odloty&#8221; (Cultural Take-offs, a fellow of the Ministry of Culture as well as of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program.<\/p>\n<p>Her works feature in the Gallery of Contemporary Art &#8220;Bunkier Sztuki&#8221;, Krak\u00f3w National Museum, Mocak Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow,<\/p>\n<p>the collection of Deutsche Bank and other private collections.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Founder of School embroidery for ladies and gentlemen &#8220;Hands of gold&#8221;. Member of &#8220;Hands of Gold&#8221; Collective. Works with the Gallery Exhibition Bureau \/ Polish Modern Art Foundation<\/p>\n<p>The piece-art \/ flag \u201cTWO\u201d is the form of notes from the times of lock-down. The symbol on the flag is a drawing from the textile.<br \/>\nThe drawing represents a familiar sign, in frequent use throughout Polish history, of two fingers outstretched in a gesture of victory, with marked distance between the fingers. The symbol reflects the frustration and helplessness numerous residents of countries throughout the world were plunged into during the pandemic. On the one hand, we felt the need to protest, one the other, this was practically impossible. As many authorities around the world treat the pandemic regime instrumentally, citizens also treat the suggested safe distance instrumentally.<br \/>\nThe flags were presented before at: Biennale of Warsaw. Member of \"Hands of Gold\" Collective. Works with the Gallery Exhibition Bureau \/ Polish Modern Art Foundation\r\nThe piece-art \/ flag \u201cTWO\u201d is the form of notes from the times of lock-down. The symbol on the flag is a drawing from the textile.\r\nThe drawing represents a familiar sign, in frequent use throughout Polish history, of two fingers outstretched in a gesture of victory, with marked distance between the fingers. The symbol reflects the frustration and helplessness numerous residents of countries throughout the world were plunged into during the pandemic.
