Dekalog <\/em>stands as one of the most important works of the great Polish film director Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski.<\/em><\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Now it will be available at the Jerusalem Cinematheque during January 2022. \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a series of ten made for television films that focus on the Ten Commandments and provide an artistic and cinematic reading of each one. <\/span><\/p>\n

In November 2021 the series was screened at the Arava International Film Festival, now it will be available at the Jerusalem Cinematheque during January 2022. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the films, a special exhibition<\/strong><\/a> about Polish photographer and camera-man Piotr Jaxa<\/strong><\/em> will be presented focusing on the many years of mutual work between him and Kie\u015blowski. <\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition offers a look at the sets the Dekalog films were filmed at as well as offering a virtual tour of the locations it was filmed at.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
