At the main ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising that will take place on April 19 in Warsaw near the Rapaport Monument,<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

a youth singing group from the city of Kiryat Motzkin (20 teenagers) will perform in collaboration with the children’s choir from Lodz and will sing songs in Hebrew, <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yiddish and Polish.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Their joint performance at the ceremony is the pr<\/span>To mark Holocaust Remembrance Day, the day the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising broke out, a central ceremony will be held on April 19 in Warsaw <\/span><\/p>\n

near the Rapaport Monument.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony will include a musical performance with the participation of an Israeli youth choir from Motzkin alongside a children’s choir from the city of Lodz, who will perform songs in Hebrew, <\/span><\/p>\n

Yiddish and Polish.<\/span><\/p>\n

The show is a part of a collaboration initiated by Mr. Albert Stankowski, director of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum, together with Dr. Leah Ganor, director of Mashmaut Center in Kiryat Motzkin and <\/span><\/p>\n

the municipality of Kiryat Motzkin \u2013 the project initiated with the aim of creating cooperation and dialogue between the members of the younger generation in Israel and Poland, who will take <\/span><\/p>\n

part in joint workshops and through which they will get to know the historical complexity of the nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The joint project will include delegation exchanges and a series of concerts.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the Holocaust Memorial Day event in Warsaw, members of the Lodz Youth Choir will visit Israel for a five-day tour at the beginning of March 2023 and during Purim<\/span><\/p>\n

and will be hosted in the homes of members of the Israeli Youth Choir, led by the Mishmaut Center team that will lead workshops and discussion groups and will visit various centers in Israel. <\/span><\/p>\n

During their visit, Israeli Holocaust survivors will visit and held joint rehearsals for the main show on Holocaust Day in Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Israel, a joint concert will be held on March 8 at 19:00 in Kiryat Motzkin, with the participation of the mayor of Kiryat Motzkin, Holocaust survivors and many guests.<\/span><\/p>\n

On April 20, there will be another concert of the Israeli choir in Lodz, to commemorate the 75th Independence Day of the State of Israel<\/span><\/p>\n

A moving and unique performance by the Children’s Choir from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a with the Israeli band “Kova Tembel” from Kiryat Motzkin, as part of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising – March 8th –\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>A joint project of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum and the Mashamaut Center in Kiryat Motzkin.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A moving and unique performance of the Children’s Choir from Lodz with the Israeli band “Kova Tembel” from Kiryat Motzkin took place on March 8th in Eshkol H’apais. <\/span>The concert was organized as part of the events accompanying the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The event was an initiative of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum in cooperation with the Mashamaut Center in Kiryat Motzkin. Representatives of the city authorities of Kiryat Motzkin, as well as a delegation from the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, and a representative of the Polish Embassy in Israel took part in this important and unique evening. The audience included Holocaust survivors, their families and descendants. The speeches emphasized the importance of educational work for bridge-building, Holocaust remembrance and remembrance, thanking Mayor Haim Tzuri for her great support and Dr. Leah Ganor for her great mission and commitment.<\/span><\/p>\n

The choir from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a performed songs in Yiddish, Hebrew and Polish. The climax was the singing of the song ‘Jerushalaim shel zahav’ in Hebrew by one of the Polish participants. The band “Kova Tembel” with Kiryat Motzkin also moved with their singing and dancing, which opened and closed the evening.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the project, the Children’s Choir from Lodz visited the homes of the families of young people from Kiryat Motzkin’s band “Kova Tembel” for 5 days. As part of a unique project, the Mashmaut Center and the Warsaw Ghetto Museum on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Uprising will continue the 2nd part of the project in Poland, during the ceremony in Warsaw in April. The project has a unique meaning – thus creating a mutual understanding of the complex history of nations, expressing the cultures of the countries and building friendships between Polish and Israeli youth.<\/span><\/p>\n

March 8th -\u00a0A joint project of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum and the Mashamaut Center in Kiryat Motzkin.\r\nA moving and unique performance of the Children's Choir from Lodz with the Israeli band \"Kova Tembel\" from Kiryat Motzkin took place on March 8th in Eshkol H'apais. The concert was organized as part of the events accompanying the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The event was an initiative of the Warsaw Ghetto Museum in cooperation with the Mashamaut Center in Kiryat Motzkin. Representatives of the city authorities of Kiryat Motzkin, as well as a delegation from the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, and a representative of the Polish Embassy in Israel took part in this important and unique evening. The audience included Holocaust survivors, their families and descendants. The speeches emphasized the importance of educational work for bridge-building, Holocaust remembrance and remembrance, thanking Mayor Haim Tzuri for her great support and Dr. Leah Ganor for her great mission and commitment.\r\nThe choir from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a performed songs in Yiddish, Hebrew and Polish.
