The Jewish Historical Institute from Warsaw has visited Israel as a part of the “Inspiring Culture” program that was initiated and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

National Heritage.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The program of the visit included presentations of the JHI’s activities at the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv and \u00a0the Moreshet, Mordechai Anielevich Memorial<\/a>, as well as meetings with Israeli cultural <\/span><\/p>\n

institutions and organizations with which the delegation became acquainted and potential cooperation was discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n

First of all, we would like to thank Lindsay Shapiro and Micha\u0142 Weiss, who are responsible for international programs at ANU \u2013 Museum of the Jewish People. During the visit to Ganzach Kiddush <\/span><\/p>\n

Hashem in Bney Berak – where the delegation was received by Rabbi Zvi Skulsy and Operations Director Rachel Yud – Director of the JHI, Monika Krawczyk and the employees had <\/span><\/p>\n

the opportunity to get acquainted with documents from the extensive archive kept by this institution and exchange experiences in collection and sharing of archival collections. Incidentally, the <\/span><\/p>\n

delegation also had the opportunity to meet the Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, and the Minister of Infrastructure and Construction, Rabbi Yitzhak Goldknopf.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the last day, the delegation visited the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, where our guests were shown around by the curator Eldad Shaaltiel, who told about the educational programs run by the <\/span><\/p>\n
