An unforgettable and emotional evening! The Polish composer W\u0142adys\u0142aw \u017bele\u0144ski composed his opera “Goplana” inspired by a fairy tale based on the play “Balladyna” by a Polish national poet Juliusz S\u0142owacki. It’s a story about lust for power, love and hate. “Goplana” undoubtedly belongs to the best works of Polish music.<\/p>\n

The opera will be staged by Lyric Opera in a concert version along with a glamorous and sparkling fashion show by a fashion designer Natalie Boychuk. The libretto connects to fashion through the world of fantasy and Polish legends that serve as the background for the heroes’ stories.<\/p>\n
