It includes installations and sculptures made from recycled materials, including rusty iron, construction waste and old barrels. The aesthetics accompanying defects and worthlessness, rust and destruction in my eyes gain value, and in my hands they transform into new works &#8211; says Dita Amiel &#8211; Encounter with material stimulates my imagination towards shapes, colours, annihilation and rebirth.<\/p>\n<p>The catalogue promoting the Amiel exhibition also includes fragments of stories and poems by the artist&#8217;s mother, Irit Amiel, who died in 2021. <em>A large part of her work has been translated into numerous languages, and her stories are read by students in Polish schools. Our creations are intertwined.<\/em> \u2013 Dita Amiel recalls \u2013 <em>We collaborated for years, and my works are on the covers of her books. Even if not literally, her writing is inextricably linked to me and my work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The exhibition will open on March 13 (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m. at the Artist&#8217;s House in Tel Aviv.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Address: Alharizi St. 9, Tel Aviv<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Free admission<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be open to the public until 5 April.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Irit Amiel, born in Cz\u0119stochowa as Irena Librowicz (1931 \u2013 2021) was an Israeli poet, writer, and translator of Polish origin.
