The central part of the evening was the screening of the film \u201cChopin, Chopin!\u201d<\/strong>, which tells the story of one of the greatest Poles \u2014 forced to leave his homeland, yet never letting it leave his heart.<\/p>\n

The biographical film, directed by Micha\u0142 Kwieci\u0144ski and set in Paris between 1835 and 1849, portrays Chopin as a charismatic and eloquent young man \u2014 a brilliant composer adored in the Parisian salons, leading an intense social life, while simultaneously struggling with illness and loneliness. The guests had the opportunity to witness both the glory of his career and his private dramas: his relationships with women, friendships, his career as a teacher, and his creative work.<\/p>\n

The evening was opened by the Ambassador of Poland to Israel, Maciej Hunia, who emphasized the great significance of this anniversary for Poland\u2019s place in Europe and in the world.<\/p>\n
