Yoeli received the Best Actress Award at the Golden Hedgehog ceremony, dedicated to excellence in independent theatre in Israel, for her outstanding performance in the central role. The production, directed by Yotam Gotal<\/strong>, is based on the novel by Polish Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk. <\/strong>Yoeli was praised for her intelligent, layered, and emotionally compelling interpretation of the protagonist.<\/p>\n

The Golden Hedgehog Award<\/strong>, presented by the Golden Hedgehog Association, is considered one of the most important theatre prizes in Israel\u2019s fringe scene and aims to encourage innovative and high-quality independent creations.<\/p>\n

The novel on which the play is based was translated into Hebrew by Miriam Borenstein<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The production premiered on 23 November 2024 and was created with the support of the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, and the Israel Lottery Council for Culture and Arts.<\/p>\n
