Previous guests have included Adina Bar-On, Sabina Cegla, Agata Wo\u017aniczka, and Ofir Hovav.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2026, we expanded the Salon Poland concept into an <strong>Atelier<\/strong> format \u2013 a space where encounters with culture and creativity also happen through hands-on experience. Participants can learn new techniques, work with materials, experiment, and create together. For this new initiative, we are partnering with <strong>CRAFTED<\/strong>, a Tel Aviv creative studio dedicated to arts and crafts, founded by Avigail Motchnik, a graduate of Shenkar\u2019s Fashion Design Department, out of a love for handcrafts and a belief in the power of the creative process.<\/p>\n<p>Folk embroidery is an important and diverse part of Poland\u2019s traditional handicrafts. Over the years, distinct regional styles have developed across the country, featuring colorful patterns, motifs inspired by nature and plants, rich compositions, and a variety of stitches and techniques. Beyond their beauty and aesthetic appeal, these crafts are also part of Poland\u2019s cultural memory, passing down knowledge, imagery, and traditions from one generation to the next.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, we will explore Polish folk embroidery, look at traditional patterns, and discover how they can inspire contemporary creations. We will learn the basics of classic embroidery, practice key stitches, and work on a personal project that combines traditional motifs with individual interpretation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Each participant will create a unique embroidered piece of their own design and take home a handmade creation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The workshops will be led by <strong>Naama Shohat, a multidisciplinary artist and embroidery workshop instructor<\/strong>.
