The Polish Institute New Delhi is pleased to present ‘Hindustani Dil’, a concert by Michal Rudas– a versatile vocalist from Warsaw – and Indian musicians Sudhir Choudhary (on guitar), David Singh (on bass guitar), and Sanjay Gopalkrishnan (on drums). Michał is a dynamic artist, popular not only across Poland, but also in India. He was the only overseas artist to have reached among the top five semi-finalists, at the popular Indian TV show “Dil hai Hindustani – 2”, broadcast by StarPlus channel last year and judged by renowned Indian artists like Pritam, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Badshah.
About Michał Rudaś & “Hindustani Dil” concert
Michał Rudaś graduated from the Bednarska Music College in Warsaw – Vocal Department (2004) and has scores of diverse vocal, stage, studio, and TV experience. He has participated in shows of different genres such as “Name that tune” (“Jaka to melodia”), “Strictly come dancing” (“Taniec z gwiazdami”) and “Your face sounds familiar” (“Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo”). His love for India and her culture, motivates Michał to keep coming back to the country. He has liaised with Indian musicians – Sudhir Choudhary, David Singh, and Sanjay Gopalkrishnan – to create “Hindustani Dil”, a concert that acts as an ‘intercultural bridge’ between the West and the East. This musical presentation is abound with Michał’s passion and love for Indian music, where he will perform famous Bollywood and qawwali songs in his unique interpretations. Also, Michał and his Indian music band will present a few pieces of his India-fusion repertoire in Polish and English languages!
