The Polish Institute in New Delhi, established in 2012, is a diplomatic mission, serving under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. PI is the cultural division of the Embassy of Poland to India. The Institute’s mission is to build and promote cultural exchange between Poland and India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal by presenting Polish culture, history and traditions to the audience of these countries.

Mr. Kajus Augustyniak  – Counsellor, the Director of The Polish Institute in New Delhi since July 2021.

Among others he worked as the press and radio journalist, as the press spokesman for the Independent and Self-Governing Trade Union ”Solidarity” and as the press spokesman for the National Centre for Culture Poland.

Ms. Małgorzata Tańska – Counsellor, the deputy director of The Polish Institute in New Delhi since April 2018. 
From September 2012 till April 2018  she worked in the Embassy of the Republic of​ ​Poland​ ​in ​Kazakhstan as the ​Head​ ​of​ ​the Consular​ ​Section​. Between March 2008 and September 2012, she worked in the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Indonesia, as the ​Deputy​ ​Head​ ​of​ ​Mission and the Head​ ​of​ the ​Consular​ ​Section (June 2010 – June 2011 she was the Chargé  d’Affaires​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Embassy​).
