Embassy of Poland and the Polish Institute of Culture in New Delhi have a pleasure to organize the screening of one of the best Polish movie: “Dług” – “The Debt”, based on a real, dramatic story of the two young friends.
The screening will be held in the cinema hall of the Polish Embassy.Time: 25th of May at 5 pm.
About the movie:
The Debt (Polish: Dług) is a 1999 Polish film directed by Krzysztof Krauze. It is based on a true event that took place in Warsaw, Poland in the early 1990s. After looking for financial backing to start a business importing Italian scooters, college friends Adam and Stefan meet businessman Gerard. While initially very helpful, Gerald soon turns violent, and begins to blackmail the pair for increasingly large sums of money while psychologically terrorizing the two men. (source: Wikipedia)
