The Theatrical Masks exhibition by Dr. Joanna Hrk was inaugurated on 7th of April 2021 at Delhi University’s Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies. Prof. Wademar Wolański delivered a moving lecture on art, Polish and Ukrainian masks, and the outstanding Polish artist and theatre set designer Dr. Joanna Hrk presented her beautiful and mysterious works.
Second edition of the Theatrical Masks exhibition was held on 12th April 2022, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, where the ambassador of Poland to India, H.E. Adam Burakowski and his wife graced the occasion with their presence. Just after the exhibition, Prof. Waldemar Wolański and Dr. Joanna Hrk led a fun workshop for Ukrainian and Polish kids in which they were taught to create masks using their imagination.
