Ukraine Now : Darkness vs Light. Children Dream about Peace – exhibition
The exhibition Ukraine Now : Darkness vs Light. Children Dream about Peace was opened in the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India on April 14, 2022.
The opening ceremony was attended by the dignitaries such as Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee, granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, Heads of foreign missions in the Republic of India, representatives of the Indian public, journalists from the leading Indian TV channels. The event was also attended by the children with special needs from the West Bengal state who presented to the Embassy the self-made pieces of work on Ukrainian theme.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India has read out the Address of the First lady of Ukraine Mrs. Olena Zelenska, dedicated to this exhibition.
The Polish Institute in India, “Kusum” Pharmaceutical Company, Ukrainian Association of Professional Photographers and the representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in India are the partners and partial co-sponsors of the exhibition.
The main idea of the exhibition was to demonstrate the horrible consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine, fight of Ukrainians for freedom and unswerving commitment to peace.
The organizers of the exhibition are convinced that the light will undoubtedly win over the darkness and the Ukrainian people will get the victory in this war to build up peaceful and happy future for Ukrainian children.
The exhibition was open in the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India till April 18, 2022.
