A concert featuring well-known musicians, such as violinist Voytek Proniewicz from Poland and pianist Alesia Kizil from Ukraine was held at the C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium on 22nd November 2022 thanks to the collaboration between the Polish Institute New Delhi and the India International Centre. The artists performed Ignacy Jan Paderewski’s sonata for violin and piano, along with pieces by Frédéric Chopin, Henryk Wieniawski and Miroslav Skoryk.
The Polish-Ukrainian duo performed also on 23rd November at Poland’s National Independence Day celebration where H.E. Adam Burakowski, Ambassador of Poland to India, invited Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi ji, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India, as the Guest of Honour.
