The Polish Institute New Delhi was happy to interview Zofia Lichota, a popular Polish Odissi Dancer. The stage was recently set for a mesmerizing performance as Zofia takes center stage with her much-anticipated solo Odissi Dance showcase, ‘Mahabhutas – Between Air and Earth, at the India International Centre New Delhi, marks a significant milestone in Zofia’s artistic journey, promising an unforgettable experience for the audience.
Zofia Lichota, hailing from Poland, emerges as a cultural ambassador, passionately embracing the role of a flag bearer for the Indian Classical Dance form – Odissi in her homeland. Under the guidance of her guru, Padmashree & SNA Awardee Ranjana Gauhar, Zofia has dedicated over a decade to perfecting her craft, showcasing hundreds of performances in Poland and abroad.
