Poland marked its presence at the prestigious Jaipur Literature Festival 2025 with the strong representation of acclaimed crime fiction writer Zygmunt Miloszewski and the Joseph Conrad International Literature Festival team- Ms. Olga Drenda, director of the festival and Ms. Agnieszka Iskra, Chief Coordinator.
Polish author took part in the panel entitled “WRITING THE TWILIGHT. Philippe Claudel and Zygmunt Miłoszewski in conversation with Anisha Lalvani” on 30th January 2025.


Ms. Olga Drenda discussed the art of translation by participating in the panel on 31.01 titled “PERSPECTIVES ON PRACTICE: TRANSLATORS IN CONVERSATION. Michael Hofmann, Nashwa Nasreldin, Olga Drenda, and Radha Chakravarty in conversation with Mitra Phukan”.




On 3rd February she also took part in the panel “FESTIVAL DIRECTOR’S ROUNDTABLE – A FRACTURED WORLD: LITERATURE AMID CONFLICT AND CHANGE. Alice Mong, Govind Deecee, Irenosen Okojie, Janhavi Prasada, Jenny Niven, Namita Gokhale, Nicola Tuxworth, Olga Drenda, and Shubha Sanjay Urs in conversation with Sanjoy K. Roy.” discussing how do literary festivals responding to the challenges of our times.
