As part of her visit to Jodhpur in connection with the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), the Director of the Polish Institute was invited to meet HH Gaj Singhji of Marwar-Jodhpur on 6 February. During the meeting, the cooperation and achievements so far in the field of conservation of the works of Polish artist Stefan Norblin, whose works are housed in the Umaid Bhawan Palace and museum, were summarised. The prospects for continuing cooperation, including with the Mehrangarh Museum Trust, were also discussed, in the spirit of further developing bilateral relations in the field of culture and popularising in India the figure of Stefan Norblin and his works, which are a wonderful testimony to the fusion of cultures.
