Voicingers On Tour Bangladesh 2025

From April 29 to May 3, 2025, the second edition of Voicingers On Tour will take place in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. As part of this edition, vocalist Grzegorz Karnas and saxophonist Jakub Skowroński will lead workshops, perform with local musicians during the International Jazz Day Celebration, and give concerts as bandleaders accompanied by the Imran Ahmed Trio.

The workshops are intended for students of music academies – instrumentalists and vocalists. The classes concentrate on rhythmic issues and improvisation exercises, which aim to create a musical space for acting outside the box through intelligent, bold, balanced interaction in ensemble playing without plan or arrangement. The classes emphasize the development of the ability to make music “by ear”, to accept “mistakes” in playing, and to use these mistakes as an essential building block for improvisation beyond the comfort zone, entering the realm of intuition.

The program of concerts and workshops within the Voicingers on Tour Bangladesh 2025 is as follows:

29 and 30 April 2025, Butternote, Dhaka:

12 pm- 2 pm workshop on vocal and jazz improvisation with Grzegorz Karnas

2.30 pm- 4 pm workshop on saxophone and jazz improvisation with Jakub Skowroński

02 May 2025, Butternote, Dhaka:
