
The screening of It’s Not My Film (To nie mój film) by Polish director Maria Zbąska, held on 5th November at 6:30 p.m. at the Cervantes Institute, New Delhi, was a resounding success.
The audience was deeply moved by the reflective nature of the film and its mesmerising cinematography, with the Baltic Sea emerging as one of the film’s striking protagonists.
The event was honoured by the presence of Head of the Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, Dr. Piotr Antoni Świtalski; Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to India, Ms. Ewa Suwara; Director of the Cervantes Institute, Ms. María Gil Burman; curator of the festival, Mr. Artur Zaborski; and the film director herself, Ms. Maria Zbąska.
Following the screening, Ms. Zbąska engaged with the audience during an insightful Q&A session, sharing her creative inspirations behind the film.
