The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of India in collaboration with Polish Institute New Delhi organised photo exhibition entitled UKRAINE. YEAR OF RESILIENCE at the Embassy of Ukraine, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.
The exhibition consists of 60 photographs taken by Ukrainian and foreign photographers. The photos are presented in two important sections, one of them is dedicated to one year of Russian barbaric aggression against Ukraine and another to the period of Russian occupation of Ukrainian Crimea since 2014.
The photographs record the events, facts and emotions of the undeclared war, and immerse the viewer in the atmosphere of the struggle of Ukrainians for their homeland and freedom.
Special Guest, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, First Deputy Chair European Integration Committee and co-chair of parliamentary group Crimea Platform Vadym Halaichuk emphasised the important role of India in finishing the war: “We are grateful to the phrase of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “This is not an era of war”. Given the weight and capabilities of India economically, politically and militarily, we are absolutely sure that Russia would have to listen to that message”.
Chargé d’affaires of Ukraine in India Ivan Konovalov expressed gratitude to all partners, friends and allies and wished 2023 to be a victorious year for Ukraine and the whole world.
The exhibition was open to public on February 23 and 24 from 10 am to 7 pm.
