Selected institutions supporting the promotion of Polish culture abroad:

The Fryderyk Chopin Institute deals with the dissemination of knowledge about Fryderyk Chopin and his music, promotion of young talents, publications, organization of concerts, conferences and courses. Initiator of the Chopin and His Europe International Music Festival, and since 2010 the organizer of the Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition. 

The International Cultural Center in Krakow focuses its scientific and research interests on the issues of broadly understood cultural heritage in active dialogue with Poland’s neighboring countries and the world, in particular in the region of Central Europe.

The Adam Mickiewicz Institute promotes Polish culture around the world by organizing cultural events (so far 5,500 events in 70 countries for nearly 52 million recipients on 5 continents) and cultural cooperation with other nations.

The Polish Book Institute deals with the popularisation of books, reading, Polish language and literature around the world. Thanks to the ©Poland translation program, over 200 translations of Polish books have been published in recent years. The Institute is the founder of the “Transatlantyk” award, granted annually to authors of the best translation of Polish literature into a foreign language.
