The Polish Institute in New Delhi is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of:

Expert in Public and Cultural Diplomacy

We are looking for a creative and committed individual with a passion for international cultural cooperation and public diplomacy. The selected candidate will be responsible for initiating, coordinating, and implementing cultural projects that promote Poland’s image in India and the South Asia region.

The applicant must be authorized to work in India in accordance with Indian law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for promoting Polish culture in India and South Asia

• Organizing, implementing, and coordinating events in the fields of literature, music, theatre, film, education, visual arts, and design

• Planning and executing marketing and promotional activities related to Polish cultural programming

• Preparing content for the Polish Institute’s newsletter, website, and social media channels

• Maintaining and updating the database of cultural contacts and partners relevant to the Institute’s activities

• Establishing and maintaining cooperation with cultural institutions, embassies, universities

• Supporting the implementation of bilateral and multilateral projects involving Poland

Requirements:

• Higher education (BA, MA, PhD degree preferably in humanities, cultural studies or a related field)

• Proven experience in cultural or art institutions, diplomacy

• Excellent command of English (spoken and written), proficiency in Hindi or any other Indian language is essential

• Knowledge of the Polish language and familiarity with Polish culture will be considered a strong asset

• Strong organizational skills, independence, creativity, and ability to work in a multicultural environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required
