During the 2nd edition of the International Film Festival in Nagaon, Polish directors Zofia Pręgowska and Tomasz Stankiewicz conducted a two-day workshop on the production of documentary films. The festival annually presents documentary films from around the world, attracting over 5000 viewers every year.
The aim of the workshop was to familiarize students with Polish document forms, as well as through the production process from idea to distribution. Local filmmakers from Assam and Arunchal Pradesh took part in the workshop. At the closing of the festival, Zofia Pręgowska had the honor to present the “The Incredible Boguns” award for Best Documentary Film from the North East.
A year earlier, during the 1st edition of the festival, director Tomasz Stankiewicz received the Golden Rhino award for Best Foreign Documentary Film.
