The Fryderyk Chopin Institute deals with the dissemination of knowledge about Fryderyk Chopin and his music, promotion of young talents, publications, organization of concerts, conferences and courses. Initiator of the Chopin and His Europe International Music Festival, and since 2010 the organizer of the Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition. 

The International Cultural Centre in Krakow is a national institution of culture specialising in the issues of culture and heritage of Central Europe.

The mission of the International Cultural Centre is to conduct dialogue and interdisciplinary studies on culture and heritage in Europe and the world. The ICC undertakes a critical and multidirectional reflection on the notion of cultural heritage using interdisciplinary instruments. In its research and activities, it refers to history, history of art and architecture, memory, cultural heritage protection, as well as all aspects of its management. The ICC’s activities are geographically focused on Central Europe and its complex history, particularly in the 20th century. 

 

The Adam Mickiewicz Institute (IAM) brings Polish culture to people around the world. As a state institution, it creates lasting interest in Polish culture and art through strengthening the presence of Polish artists on the global stage. IAM initiates innovative projects, supports international cooperation and cultural exchange. It promotes the work of both established and emerging artists, showcasing the diversity and richness of our culture. IAM also runs the Culture.pl portal, a comprehensive source of knowledge about Polish culture.

The Polish Book Institute deals with the popularisation of books, reading, Polish language and literature around the world. Thanks to the ©Poland translation program, over 200 translations of Polish books have been published in recent years. The Institute is the founder of the “Transatlantyk” award, granted annually to authors of the best translation of Polish literature into a foreign language.
