On the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus and the 480th anniversary of the publication of his groundbreaking treatise “De revolutionibus orbium coelestium”, the Polish Institute in Beijing invited Tsinghua University to co-organize an exhibition dedicated to one of the most outstanding scientists in world history.

The project includes, among others: board exhibition prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with APAN, which is an adaptation of the exhibition entitled “Nicolaus Copernicus. Life and Work” carried out in 2013 by APAN, as well as instruments for observing the positions of stars and planets along with related historical documents.
