The Beijing International Science Festival hosted a number of international exhibitions from August 8 to 11. The Polish stand was dedicated to Polish scientists whose achievements changed the world.
Guests visiting the festival were invited to the Polish pavilion by Maria Skłodowska-Curie, where workshops and lectures of the “Academy of Superheroes” by the Foundation ‘Nauka. To Lubię’ awaited the youngest participants.
For science enthusiasts, we also prepared an exhibition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the PAN Archives entitled ‘Nicolaus Copernicus. Life and Work’ presenting illustrations, maps and manuscripts related to the biography and achievements of the Polish astronomer and one of the most outstanding scholars in the history of world science.
The festival was visited by 28,000 guests.
