Recent years have seen a great deal of urban renewal and development across Poland, and architects of world renown such as Norman Foster, Polish-born Daniel Liebeskind and Helmut Jahn are among the designers of today’s Warsaw. Local architects, too, have produced some of #Europe’s most inspired modern buildings.

Notable examples of great contemporary architecture in Poland include the award-winning Mieczysław Karłowicz Philharmonic in #Szczecin, the Silesian Museum in #Katowice, the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in #Warsaw, the European Solidarity Centre in #Gdańsk, and he National Museum in #Szczecin — The Dialogue Centre Upheavals which won the title World Building of the Year at the 2016 World Architecture Festival.
