Discover 🇵🇱’s rich #literature and world-renowned authors!

#Poland has made a significant contribution to world literature with numerous 📚considered international classics, such as “Solaris”, “Heart of Darkness”… and more recently Sapkowski’s “The Witcher” saga.

Five Polish writers have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature, namely Henryk Sienkiewicz, WÅ‚adysÅ‚aw Reymont, CzesÅ‚aw MiÅ‚osz, WisÅ‚awa Szymborska, and Olga Tokarczuk. And if you add Isaac Bashevis Singer, 🇵🇱🇺🇸writer in Yiddish, to the list, Poland ranks as the 6⃣th country with the highest number of literary Nobel Prize winners.

Other heavyweight names of Polish literature who enjoy a world renown include Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski, better known as Joseph Conrad, Stanisław Lem and Ryszard Kapuściński.
