The recruitment of candidates started on 2 January 2021, and ends on 14 June 2021.

Foreign Minister’s history contest for best publications promoting the history of Poland and Polish diplomacy opens for entries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign language publication promoting the history of Poland and the best Polish language publication on the history of Polish diplomacy. The contest welcomes works which were published in 2020. Historians can submit their works until 15 August 2021.

Tremendous rivalry for young dancers — Golden Pointe Shoes 2021 Online applications are now open

Registration for the prestigious international ballet competition Golden Pointe Shoes 2021 Online has begun. It's organized by The Ballet Foundation and it'll take place entirely online. The event is meant for ballet school graduates from around the world. They'll fight for the title of the best dancer and for the main prize of €5000. The ambassadors of the competition are Shoko Nakamura and Wieslaw Dudek, while the members of the jury team will be Olympia Estrella, Michal Krčmář, Vladimir Issaev and others. The XIVth edition will end within 18-20 June. These amazing ballet shows will be available on a streaming platform.

Foreign Service Day 2020

“As the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army, I hereby notify belligerent and neutral governments and nations of the existence of an Independent Polish State, within all the territories of the united Poland” – with these words Józef Piłsudski addressed the heads of world powers and notified them about the formation of the Second Polish Republic.

National Independence Day

On 11 November 1918, 102 years ago, Poland regained its independence. On this day, after his release from the Magdeburg Fortress, Józef Piłsudski took over military command from the Regency Council and, three days later, assumed supreme authority over civilian matters, to finally “as Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army [...] notify belligerent and neutral governments and nations” of the reappearance of “the reborn and independent Republic of Poland” on the map. After 123 years of captivity, Poland became a sovereign and internationally recognised state.

2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Polish Music Competition

We hereby announce the date of the 2nd Stanisław Moniuszko International Polish Music Competition The 2nd edition of Stanisław Moniuszko International Polish Music Competition will be held between 11–18 September 2021 at the Artur Malawski Philharmonic in Rzeszów. The participants will compete for a prize pool of over eighty thousand euro, in two categories – piano and chamber ensembles. The competition is organised by the Institute of Music and Dance.
