The Polish Institute in Delhi was delighted to extend its honorary patronage and be part of the inauguration of IN FLUX, a solo exhibition by Polish artist Anna Krzemińska-Baoni, presented at Gallery ONKAF in Delhi.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 4 September by H.E. Dr Piotr Antoni Świtalski, Head of Mission of the Republic of Poland in India.
The exhibition is exploring connections between the human body, landscape, transformation and nature through painting and spatial installation.

Anna Krzemińska-Baoni is a Polish visual artist, art educator, curator and Assistant Professor at the Drawing and Painting Studio, Faculty of Interior Design, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she also coordinates international cooperation and European Union Erasmus+ program which supports international exchange and mobility of teachers and students. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, with studies focused on exhibition design, painting and artistic textiles, and a PhD from the Faculty of Painting, specialising in painting and artistic textiles, particularly batik. For many years, her artistic research focused on Asia and has explored painting and textile technologies alongside Eastern culture, philosophy, antropology and aesthetics. These experience inform her practice, which investigates relationships between signs, symbols, the human body – especially feminine principle and nature. She has participated in over 60 exhibitions in Poland and internationally, including India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Vietnam. Her extensive collaboration with Asian art institutions includes artistic residencies, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, research and curatorial projects. She actively promotes intercultural dialogue in the visual arts.
