Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York cordially invites all interested in science-fiction and new technologies to the first ever screening of a film using VR (virtual reality) technology at the Consulate General of Poland in New York!
We encourage you to visit us and watch the VR movie “Kosmogonik” based on the legendary “Fables for Robots” by Stanislaw Lem, world-acclaimed Polish futurologist. The movie will be available in two language versions – Polish and English.
The screening will be accompanied by an exhibition “Lem’s Bestiary according to Mroz” allowing visitors to get acquainted with the universe created by the Polish writer.
Filmmakers will be present to allow all interested to interact and talk about issues related to the works of S. Lem, as well as technical aspects of creating in VR technology.
Participants are asked to bring their own headphones (using a 3.5 mm jack or USB-C; Bluetooth connectivity is not guaranteed).
